Which printed labels are waterproof?

Whether your custom labels are waterproof or not depends on the label material used. All of your vinyl materials are tear- and waterproof, so they are perfect for you. These include:

What makes custom labels waterproof?

Essentially, there are two components that make your sticky labels waterproof: the material and the laminate.

As already mentioned, the vinyl materials are generally waterproof. We also laminate all our vinyl labels to make them extra-resistant.

The gloss finish we use not only creates high-quality labels, it also makes them withstand water and scratches and is UV-resistant, protecting your design from fading in the sunlight.

Our paper labels, for example, are not laminated, which is why they are not waterproof.

Can I put waterproof labels in the dishwasher?

Yes, you can! All of the materials listed above can be put into a standard dishwasher without interfering with the adhesive. For ultimate longevity, we recommend washing them by hand more often than not, but the occasional dishwasher cycle should not be a problem.

Our eco-friendly sticker range should not be put in the dishwasher as the combination of heat and water can accelerate the decomposition process.
