Most sticker suppliers will tell you in the description of the product which type of adhesive your sticker or label will have.
If this isn't the case, however, download the material datasheet (if available). See an example here.
The datasheet should tell you which type of adhesive your sticker or label has.
If it doesn't say; removable, permanent, or high-tack, look for a 'Peel Adhesion' value. These are the values you are looking for:
- Removable adhesive = less than 19 N/1"
- Permanent adhesive = 20-28 N/1"
- High-tack adhesive = 29 N/1" and up
A high-tack adhesive is 50% stickier than regular stickers; this may not sound like much, but it is.
Don't use a sticker with high-tac glue on your car paintwork. Otherwise, you'll be needing to visit the paint shop as it'll peel your paint off.
