What are transparent stickers?

Transparent stickers, clear stickers, see-through stickers and clear background stickers are all the same: a sticker printed onto transparent material.

You can get a transparent or clear sticker in any custom shape you can think of, from rounded corners over rectangle stickers to die cut stickers and sticker sheets.

We also offer different clear materials: a vinyl-based clear sticker as well as an eco-friendly clear sticker that is made from wood pulp.

Making custom stickers online

Creating your own custom clear stickers is super easy. Simply use our online sticker maker tool Graphic to browse free templates and elements to design your ideal sticker.

With our pre-designed sticker templates, you do not need to invest in photo editing tools or Adobe Illustrator to create a sticker design for your company logo or product labels.

Select your material of choice, and it will immediately generate a clear background for you to fill. Then select your favourite sticker template to edit and modify. You can create any custom shape for your custom sticker.

There is no need to worry about your bleed area or white ink. Simply create your design, submit it and leave our design team instructions as to which parts of your design you want white ink printed behind or any other ideas you have.

They will then send you a design proof, a digital stickers representation that shows your final design. If you are happy, send it to print.

Creating a transparent background

In Graphic, you simply need to make sure that you have selected the "clear" material in the sticker material menu. This will ensure that your sticker is printed on a transparent background.

It is as simple as this with most other design tools. Select the "background" tool from the toolbar on the left-hand side of the screen. You can then choose the "Transparent" option from the background colour drop-down menu.

Now, your entire design will have a transparent background! When you order your clear stickers, our design team can also create a clear background for you.

Finding the right transparent sticker

When you browse our clear sticker range, you will come across three different options: clear stickers, eco-friendly clear stickers and sticker sheets.

Clear stickers are individually cut vinyl stickers with a transparent background. Use these for stickers you want to hand out or sell individually, or any product or application that will come into contact with water.

Eco-friendly clear stickers are plastic-free. They are made from sustainably sourced wood pulp and can be used just like your clear stickers. However, they are not as waterproof as their vinyl counterparts, so we recommend not using them around water.

Stickers printed onto sheets are referred to as labels. Labels are what you need when you want to brand products. Through the extra material around your labels, these are super easy to peel, which makes them faster to apply.
